flooring had to reflect this status.
PROPOSAL: Working with design teams at QSP design solutions and architects and Resortcorp Harmony technical representatives put forward a variety of species and profile choices we felt would compliment the design concept. Finally Harmony Brazilian Cherry was selected as the timber that had the richness and character that would best offset the internal design and fixtures. A wide board profile was selected to give the floor a more modern appeal.
RESULTS: The floors were installed over a two week period with the pre-finished format essential in helping to meet construction deadlines. This is a case where the pictures speak for themselves, the rich diversity of tones and grain found in the Brazilian Cherry makes for a striking floor that exudes class and wealth. This is a floor that helps cement the property's prestigious status and assisted in the quick sale of all six units.
BREIF: A throw back to the beach houses of the '50s and '60s the beach shacks development is composed of 37 free standing residents situated in the heart of Casuarina Beaches Vibrate residential precinct. Durability was a key factor for the developer in selecting the floor knowing that they would be exposed to heavy traffic and hash environmental conditions.
PROPOSAL: After considering all the key design and construction variables associated with the project as well as the requirements of the end-user. Harmony floors suggested that a natural strand woven bamboo be specified which would give the light shades desired by the design teams while still providing durability and long-term stability.
RESULTS: The 37 houses where installed over a 2 month period and where beyond the expectations of all involved. The photos of the floors where featured heavily in all sales related material and helped ensure a quick sale of all apartments.
